The Leopard Gecko

Named for its spotted skin, the leopard gecko is popular with lizard enthusiasts because it is small, easy to care for, and gentle. This lizard is an excellent cricket hunter, and eats as much as it can when food is abundant, storing fat in its tail to get it through lean times.
