Very few people have ever even heard of the Ethiopian wolf, a canid found only in isolated pockets of mountainous Ethiopia, where it is listed as "critically endangered." With less than 1,000 individuals estimated to be in existence, the future of this rare canid depends almost entirely on human efforts. This book will introduce students to the social, biological, and physiological makeup of the Ethiopian wolf.
